Buwan Art Collective (est. 2020) is a collective based in Singapore consisting of three artists, Sophia Dominguez, Laura Pelea, and Arrvinraj. 'Buwan' is the Filipino meaning for month and moon, both of which the collective encompasses in their works and projects. 'Buwan' symbolises the cyclical change, power, and mystery that is life and the nature of performance art. They are a multimedia and performance art collective, with a focus on supporting the community of other young artists in Singapore, creating spaces and events to showcase new works and cultivate the performance art scene in Singapore. Recently, the collective had a 3-hour durational performance at the Bencoolen Glass Showcase during the Singapore Night Festival.
